If you’ve ever wondered whether you can sculpt a portrait of a person, you will be pleasantly surprised to find that you can learn quite quickly. This anatomy based class focuses on building a portrait from a photograph, preparing it for firing and learning the process of acrylic patina and wax finishes.

This class will use anatomical instruction to guide you through the process of creating a small sculpture of your own dog utilizing photographs. You will learn how your dog’s body is changed in various poses. Detail of head and paws as well as coat will be covered. Pieces will be fired.

Please bring a several full-body profile images as well as a close up of your dog’s head. Bring your own lunch and snacks.
